Bumping a few of these for Blue Cloud. Blue, there is a search link on the main web page that allows you to search for old posts. I used that to bump a few for you for my posts: Search = Stickin, all topics, 356 days My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/22/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 546 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 9,828 Amount Saved: $3,003.00 Life Gained: Days: 99 Hrs: 14 Mins: 46 Seconds: 2

When the Trigger Occurs and the Urge Strikes Use self talk, take up another activity, do not dwell on the urge and remember one is never enough. You will want another thirty minutes down the road. Good luck, stay the course and follow your quit plan. Congratulations on your decision to quit smoking!

Never contemplate quitting over the next week, month, year or lifetime. Just concentrate on today. All you need to do is to not smoke today. Then go to bed. Then do the same tomorrow. Start enjoying life. And as your quit develops realise what a waste of health, money and time smoking is! Thanks Stickin! What are you using for distraction? What coping mechanisms are helping you in your quit? Please share :) Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
