Hi Becklynn,

Teeth, eyes and throat?
I'd say it's an allergy to fish. Stay away from that river!

Seriously though - it took several weeks for me and my body to settle down having quit

Doc said everything looked good.  But that my mucus was too thick and causing the throat problems.
Told me to get Mucinex to thin the mucus.  Quiting was part of the problem because my body stopped making so much mucus and it just thickened up.  Hope it works, I will let you know.

My Milage:

My Quit Date: 4/29/2008
Smoke-Free Days: 9
Cigarettes Not Smoked: 180

Good on the appointment. We have been putting nasty chemicals in our bodies for a long time. When we quit sometimes we throw off the "normal" flora for awhile. I ate yogurt with natural lactobacillus and I got some "probiotic" capsules from the vitamin store.. also papay enzymes.. it is almost 3 months.. and I finally feel my body is getting to it's new "normal" hang in there... becky, This can be normal. Use water, tea and lozenges to keep your mouth and throat moist. If this persists, check with your doctor to rule out anything medical :) Josie, Health Educator

My throat has been sore for a couple of days now. At night it gets so dry that I can not swallow. Is this normal?
