Congratulations Karren,

 

But don't sell yourself short on the fitness levels assumption! Your breathing levels and fitness will definitely improve way beyond your initial expectations if you keep to a regular fitness regime which does not have to be in any way excessive. Like diet, little and often is what I would recommend. Oh and keep off the cigarettes, of course!!!

OK, this is purely for fun- remember I told you guys that hubby and I were going to join a gym?? (Paid for by our ex smokes money and to keep a check on our waist lines too) well we did!! and ask me who did 10 whole minutes on an exercise bike without collapsing and gasping for breath ....yep me!! Last time I was assessed at a gym they had to stop the bike test after two minutes as I couldn't breathe- soooo although fitness levels are still dire ( and probably always will be)- breathing is definitely improved and hopefully will continue to get stronger and stronger- Jane Fonda-eat your heart out!! (oops showing my age there)
