Awwwww Phil! *tears up* :') So true...! I could've never done this without being able to read all these posts and seeing that I wasn't alone. I feel like everyone here are angels keeping me on the right track. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/7/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 3 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 46 Amount Saved: $16.5 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 4 Mins: 51 Seconds: 36

Here are some non health benefits: 1)No more bad breath 2)Decrease the yellowing of your teeth 3)Your clothes and hair no longer smell of smoke 4)Your nail color will return to normal 5)More cash! 6)Easier to workout 7)Prevent wrinkles from appearing faster than they should 8)Improves circulation in the face 9)Not worrying if you're going to offend anyone if you light up 10)No more freezing your butt off when taking a smoke break at work during winter LOL These just came off the top of my head. Anyone else have some benefits? Just wanted to remind myself of the benefits of quitting! 20 minutes: Blood pressure and pulse return to normal 8 hours: Nicotine and carbon monoxide levels in the blood are halved, oxygen levels in the blood return to normal 24 hours: Carbon monoxide is eliminated from the body and the lungs start to clear out the build up of tar 48 hours: There is no nicotine left in the body. Taste and smell are greatly improved 72 hours: Breathing becomes easier, bronchial tubes begin to relax, energy levels increase 2 - 12 weeks: Circulation improves, making walking and running a lot easier 3 - 9 months: Coughs, wheezing and breathing problems improve as the lungs have room for up to 10% more oxygen 1 year: Risk of heart attack is halved 10 years: Risk of lung cancer is halved 10 years: Risk of heart attack is at the same level as non-smokers :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 69 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,738 Amount Saved: $345 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 8 Mins: 42 Seconds: 42
