How do you reset the meter - starting over

Marie, Congratulations on your decision to start over and get back to the quit! You won't be sorry! To reset your meter, at the top of this scree that you're looking at right now, there's something that says "preferences." Right between search messages and log out. Click there and you can change your quit date there. You CAN do this Marie! Stay strong and post BEFORE you smoke. I can't tell you how many times that one thing has saved my quit! Crave the Quit! Thank you Lady, Pam, Nance, SSC, Kiwi and Sammi. I'm back to day one, bummer but better than back to smoking. It'ld be too easy to just start smoking again. Interestingly I feel sick - so buying cigs did nothing but make me feel sick, sort of a stomach bug? Also, my kid said to me Saturday "you're not smoking are you", she's so bright. She and I are having a pajama morning/afternoon - wiped everything off the calendar and we're going to play and snuggle. When my SIL died April 2006 at age 24, I went into therapy to deal with her death, the death of my father-in-law at the same time, the then recent death of my own Dad and my poor brother. I learned alot about myself during that time in therapy. I am strong and I am a good person who doesn't ask for much in return. My husband and I have been together for 29 years, since we were 17. This Friday, we shared our first kiss 29 years ago, the day I turned 17. What transpired was unacceptable, he's called so many times from the hotel that I took the phone off the hook. I do not accept the behavior but as I get older I realize that blind retaliation is not the answer for us. We need to work through our problems (which seem to happen at the same time every year - Spring, well, the "big" fights). Marriage is hard work as we all know and we have a kid we both love so much. He'll be staying at a hotel for at least the remainder of this week - I can't let him back in and it's killing him. I spoke to the therapist and we have an appointment today but I think I may push it back - everything is too fresh and I'm exhausted mentally to think clearly. Well thanks for being there and the next time I even think of smoking, I'll post first.
