What is your favorite quit moment

My favorite Quit Moment,,,, the first connection tying a crave/trigger together and disposing of it by writing N.O.P.E. on a 3x5 index card over the Dining room table. then having the satisfaction of never having a crave there again! auntdeb My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 53 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,690 Amount Saved: $251.75 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 9 Mins: 36 Seconds: 47

I woke up this morning and walked to the coffee pot and poured a nice hot cup of joe. I walked over to the sofa and felt around in the dark for the clicker...ahh here it is. Sat down and started watching the news. Well, low and behold....it was the first morning that not only didn't I have to make a conscious CHOICE not to go outside for a smoke I didn't even think of it for a whole 15 minutes!! Woo hoo! These little moments really get me motivated for a great day!! How about you? 31st July 2004 - I will never forget that day - "My Truly Magical Day". The thread with my story is here somewhere. It was my 74th day quit and it was the day of realisation; the day that I knew I would never smoke again - like I said, "Truly Magical". Penitent, still smokefree 937 days later on day 1011 - Priceless!!!
