Use this knowledge to your advantage when it comes to quitting. I say, whenever you are having a craving, take it as a sign that you're looking to smoking as something to do next... and then do something else. Try to come up with something that you will do everytime you get a craving to signal that you should do THAT instead of smoke. I'm glad to hear that you've replaced the want to smoke with the want to check email or something... that's definitely progress!
