First Time here

Hi well I've tried with no luck about 5 times. I always told myself that if it started affecting my health I would quit. Know I know how stupid that was. I have circulation problems that I've had to have medical care for, and I have asthma thats getting worse. I also have an autoimune disease thats getting worse, so I really have to do it this time, I hope to god I've found the right place. Best of luck to all others here. Hey you may even find a friend, you never know. Once again good luck to all. :8o:

This is a great place to stop, I have been here all day off and on, and I am not even craving all that much. I like reading all the post, It showes me I am not alone in the battle to be free. I love the feeling I have inside because I know this is the last time I will let these cigs control me. My life will be mine again. I am VERY proud of ME! I can't let myself down, belive me there are enough other people out there to do that for you, so be strong you can do! lukeylou, Welcome to the site! This is the place to be if you're serious about quitting smoking. Everyone here is very supportive and willing to help. I've also tried many many many times to quit, but this site is what's making the difference for me. It sounds like you have some really good reasons to finally kick this nasty addiction. It's not easy, but with the help of this site, it is most certainly doable. Read and post as much as you can. That really was key for me. Congratulations on your decision to quit smoking and welcome to the site. Crave the Quit! lukeylou, Congratulations on your decision to quit and welcome to the SSC. From the sounds of things, quitting is where you need to be. You picked a great place to join. There are ton of very committed quitters here who will give you all the help and support they can. There is a quit program here that you might want to check out as well. Read all the posts and don't forget to set your quit meter info in your "glove compartment". Be sure and remember to "tic" the box below each post to display your quit meter. Best wishes.
