discovering long-buried assumptions

Fleursh ... "Amazing how my life has been structured around these." Thanks so much for sharing this. Over the years it seems I find my way through one issue after another and in the process I tend to forget the things I learned early on. Reading your assumptions hit home for me. A decade ago, I spent a tremendous amount of energy getting past my negative assumptions. Then other things happened in life, I got busy and I forgot about this important tool. Almost all of that list resonated for me. I seem to recall this is covered in later lessons ... I'm looking forward to it.

Hi y'all, It's been a big week for me--I'm still reeling with the realization of these assumptions. they've been just below the surface all these years! I don't deserve anything good I deserve to be punished I can't be successful in all (any) areas of my life I must prove my parents wrong No one would really want to be my friend or love me Depression will always rule my life Amazing how my life has been structured around these. Now I feel like a have a toothache, and need to get it pulled! Anyone care to share their assumptions and/or what it is like to learn to think around them?
