Pleasant Activities

I have offered my place to host thanksgiving dinner this year. I have not hosted anything in a very long while because I have been worried about it and not had enough energy to open my home up to others. But this year I feel different, I feel better, I feel ready to be the host again! Very pleasant day for me today! Making a list of things to buy for the weekend...

Hi lepetitchatchinois,

Is knitting hard? I want to try something new to help me with my depression this fall/winter. Would I be able to learn knitting fairly easily??

Hi,

I started knitting again.  It keeps my hands and mind busy.

Hey cyclerider,'

Yes Bikram Yoga is commonly known as hot yoga! It is really great! it's a little intense...so I would recommend trying out a regular yoga class first if you are a beginner...but eventually try it out!

Yoga comes in many forms!  Various Ashrams around the world teach the art of Yoga!

Never done hot yoga before. Is that another name for Bikram Yoga?

I've recently returned to practicing Yoga. Me and the wife go to a weekly class.

Slight change of plans - instead of baking bagels, I made cheesecake. A coworker is getting married, and has a house full of relatives, so I'm going to drop it off tomorrow.

It's odd, how it's sometimes easier to do things for others than for yourself. Feels good, though.
