Hi Tinas, When you have the anxious thoughts, mostly you are concerned with one outcome, panic or dying from it. But the thoughts are usually repeative in the day, the small 2 or 3 thoughts over and over. Is this a heart attack or stroke one day. And the next is my leg is numb and is it MS, etc. Just document those particular thoughts and put the hours down that you dwelled on them for that day. As far as getting rid of the thoughts, is to keep yourself mentally occupied, by reading, online chat rooms with others that have this disorder, there are plenty, I belong to a couple. I play games or chat at night, that is when my thoughts seem to flare up mostly. During the day, I try to keep busy physically, cleaning, walking. Exercise is really good stress reliever. Wishing you the best, Trish
