Hi Anerol,

Looking for a good therapist requires some "shopping around". It would be best for you to check with your community health centres or even ask your doctor for any referrals. It seems you are looking for someone who specializes in anxiety and depression.

You may have to call around and ask questions that pertain to your expectations and goals before deciding on the right therapist for you.

Members, please share your thoughts on seeking out mental health therapists and how your experience affected your symptoms.

Hello,
what are good and important ways to find a great therapist?
Does everyone here have one?
I am thinking of getting one or consulting with one... I've had 2 in the past, but they were not great because they were not anxiety and depression specialists. Any advice on therapists?
