Sounds like great freind. Don't give the friend all the credit though. You stuck it out when you wanted to run. That was you challenging your anxiety!

Dear Everyone, I had a really bad panic attack in the grocery store this morning - I was so glad I was with a friend of mine who totally understands my situation and has experienced anxiety in his life and is so sweet - he got me through it. He held me close to him - said over and over, as he was ordering the colds cut at the deli counter, everything is going to be o.k. - I wanted run out out the store about 10 times - but, he kept talking to me, kept his arm around me, held my hand and pretty soon, it was over and we were going to the car. I could have never done that without him - I am so grateful for friends like him - and so many other people who understand what we go through. May God bless them. Bye for now, am a little tired from the episode, Maria
