Hi josie! Thanks for your support! I actually just completed my 7th week of the program today. I'm so proud of that!! I'm sure you are too.
And to my surprise, it was about breathing techniques. So i'm trying the technique that teaches you how to breath calmly. Luckily i know this from yoga already. So i really have to practice it more on a daily basis.
The problem is that i'm just thinking negative about this pain in my chest. I'm going to see if it persists. If it stays, i will contact my doctor. But i hope its just anxiety. Its so hard to tell sometimes.
I just dont' want this to freak me out....i dont' want to fall back a few steps cause i'm scared of this feeling. i want to stay strong.
pray for me plz :)
Angel,
Have you tried relaxation techniques? What about breathing techniques? For tonight, prepare by reducing your anxiety level as much as you can. Try a hot bath, some soothing music or a warm beverage?
Tomorrow do sign up for the Panic Diary where you can record your daily level of anxiety. You can also find how helpful it is to use breathing techniques to help you deal with your panic and anxiety. The Panic Program can help you understand more and may help you go about challenging your thoughts.
Let us know if you need any help,
Josie

HI everyone. I hope all is doing well!
I have a question. Do any of you experience heavy breathing for like one week straight? Before i begin, i already went to the doctor a couple of months ago to check out my lungs, everything is normal. now, this past week, i just feel like my chest is heavy and my breathing is thick and heavy. It gets worse when i lay down.
Also, i have this pain in my chest, its really close to my heart. I had this checked out a while ago and the doctor said its just a muscle, its not my heart. But somehow i keep thinking it is. I just cant stop thikning negative. I really am trying to be brave. I have been pretty good lately. But this is really scaring me. right now as i'm typing, my breathing is heavy. maybe i'm just thinking too much.
Can any of you relate to this?
I just need to know if this is part of everyday anxiety or what. thank you
