Hi B. Have you tried the program on this site? It helps you learn how to control your anxious thoughts. Since I've tried CBT programs, I hardly ever panic. I'm now dealing mostly with chronic anxiety, but at least I know how to control the panic attacks. Good luck!

so tired, Have you tried relaxation techniques? What about breathing techniques? For tonight, prepare by reducing your anxiety level as much as you can. Try a hot bath, some soothing music or a warm beverage? Tomorrow do sign up for the Panic Diary where you can record your daily level of anxiety. You can also find how helpful it is to use breathing techniques to help you deal with your panic and anxiety. The Panic Program can help you understand more and may help you go about challenging your thoughts. Take Care, Melanie ___________________________ The Panic Center Support Team

Dear So Tired, Please do not beat yourself up over this, you at this time were not ready to go back to work, someday you will but just not now, I understand about your husband, mine is disapointed in me too because I have had this relaspe, its hard for someone who does not have this disorder to understand, just because you cannot work now does not mean in a few months or more you may, at lease you tried you went out and tried and that IS a victory in itself!! I wish I had the courage to do that at least try, this is not a failure its just been postponed awhile. Do you take meds So tired? you may have said but I forgot, I am taking Paxil and ready to go up on my miligrams soon, I am fighting off a panic now, I drank 2 cups of coffee to get going and now I regret it I think the caffeine hurts me. Please let me know how you are and please remember you tried and that is a win in itself. I will be looking forward to hearing from you, I will pray for you. God bless, Debbie.

I don't think I can do this anymore. I started a new job, but quit after only 4 days. I was always anxious and kept panicking. I wasn't happy there. I felt that I had to do this for myself, but at the moment my husband is disappointed in me and doesn't understand or want to support me. He keeps making me feel bad about the decision I made, and goes on about the mortgage, loans, etc. Sometimes I just want to go away and not come back. I am tired of dealing with this anxiety -- I don't want it to control my life, but I am letting it win...can someone please help me... B
