Thank you Gina and John John for your advice and support, its been a scary time for me lately, I keep fearing lung cancer because this darn Broncitis will not let up and the blood tinged mucus, the Doctor said that can happen in broncitis, I hope he is right. God bless, Debie.

Hi Debbi! First of all don't worry about having called the paramedics! You did the right thing. I think many of us in that situation would have acted the same. In regards to your immune system, it probably is quite week. But only because you have been on antibiotics. Although antibiotics are great at killing certain sicknesses, they actually break down your immune system. Its nothing to worry about though, it just takes a little time for the body to get the immune system back to normal. Eating well and sleeping well are both key factors to get your immune system back into tip top shape! In regards to your question; "can illness after illness hurt my body?" I bet it sure feels like your body is hurting badly, but that physical pain is actually part of the healing process. Sure, illness after illness might wear you down a bit mentally and physically. But it's nothing your body cannot handle. Trust your body's capability heal itself. Just help it along with the thins mentioned above; healthy eating and sleep! Also, quitting smoking cold turkey is pretty tough. Instead of doing it that way, perhaps try a nicotine patch to allow your body to adjust slowly. It is definately in your best intrest to stop smoking! For the immediate future, try to relax through deep breaths. You obviously love you son very very much, so imagine yourself with him enjoying a wonderful day. The more you picture that, the more you mind will register that and will cause it to become a reality. Hope this helps!

This morning after my son went too school, I had a terrible coughing fit, it was so bad I almost passed out, I felt something snap in my head and my mucus was full of blood, I started shaking and sweating, I thought my son would return home from school and find me dead, what an awful thought. I called the paramedics and they came, they were wonderful, they took a print out of my heart, oxagen, they even took blood, my pressure was up and my oxagen was down, they said the severe coughing caused my dizziness, my blood surgar was just a little low. My husband is going to be furious, I know all the neighbors saw the paramedics, and I do not care, was I wrong to call them? Has anyone ever had broncitis and had blood in thier mucus?? The antibotic seems to make me a little short of breath after I take it, I do not know if its just the broncitis or nerves that is causing it, usually amoxicillian works good with no bad effects, the paramadic asked if I was scared to be alone since I was so sick, I guess he saw that. I feel like I am breaking down physically, first that horrible kidney thing and just as I am getting over it I get bacterial broncitis, I wonder if the Paxil is causing this, it seems like all this happened when I started the Paxil again, or is it just coicidence? I feel like my body is breaking down, sickness after sickness, they I wonder "whats next" I just want to get my health back and take care of my son, I hope I can, I feel like my body is dying half the time, it cannot all be anxiety, I have quit cold-turkey smoking, it probably caused the broncitis, since my nerves have been so bad I have smoked more, never again, can illness after illness hurt the body?? My immune system must be very bad. Any replies would help and prayers, I am alone and shaking so bad and can hardly breathe, I did not want to call the paramedics back. Thank you, Debbie.
