You're gonna get through this. We need to surrender ourselves to the idea that our bodies are not going to work perfectly all the time and that is okay. I have come to the conclusion that the only person who can end the madness is ourselves. No one else can do it for you. Taking the Paxil was a great step to start making things work. It takes one step at a time to get ourselves better. Every small step counts, eventually you can look back and see how far you have come. Keep going... ;)

Thank you Allison I hope I do have some good days, I hope we all do! The antibotic Levaquin seems to be causing shortness of breath and some tiredness, I hope the shortness of breath goes away. I hope to feel better real soon, the Paxil probably has not kicked in yet, I am taking such a low dose through. I hope you are doing well and enjoying your summer. God bless, Debbie.

Wow Debbie, I am sorry to hear you've head such a rough time lately. You deserve to have some good days! You will not die from this, this is nothing antibiotics can't cure. Your immunity is probably down from such constant emotional stress. I am sorry you husband is upset with you. It's hard when things are difficult and people don't understand the tremedous emotional strain you are under. What's important is that you get better! :) When your son goes back to school you will have some time to relax, and work on this things. What kind of help is available to you? Do you feel the Paxil helping? I'm thinking about you!

Hi Vickers and Gina, I went to the nurse-practioner that treated me when I thought I was pregnant back in April. My primary care again refused to see me, first a month ago they tell me to go to the ER when I had chest pains, I am shocked they told me to go again for a UTI! They said they were booked, my friend drove down there and was going to take me and the waiting room was nearly empty. I paid $150.00 for the office visit plus for the lab culture and full price for the script, needless to say I am very hurt and mad and my husband is furious that this could of cost a $10.00 co pay with perscription coverage. I have a urinary tract infection that the nurse thinks has possibly spread to my kidneys, they did tests and I have blood in my urine, that is what has been causing the back and pelvic pain frequent urination and fever. I am very grateful to the nurse for seeing me and treating me, my husband pays $420.00 a month for the insurance and is livid and of course is yelling and screaming and making me feel worse, I of course did not want to spend that kind of money we did not have, but I am so happy just to be treated. SHe put me on "Levaquin" its a 3-day antibotic, has anyone heard of this one?? I feel a little short of breath from it but I am trying to keep it down, the blood in my urine scares me and I know kidneys are important. I really hate to go to DOctors so I knew I was very sick this time to break down and go, the new med scares me Levaquin. Thank you so much VIckers and Gina for caring and your concern. This was really bad this time, the pain is pretty severe, hopefully this antibotic will clear it up. Please write when you can. God bless, Debbie.

Hey Debbie! It sounds to me like you have a urinary tract infection. I've had them many times. They are painful and very annoying because of the constant urination, but they will just take a urinalysis to make sure that's what it is and then give you something like penicillin, which will clear it right up - no problems. I know you're really scared right now but it will be ok! Infection is a scary word and I know when you hear it, you think of instant doom, but this will not kill you. I think your body is aching so bad because you have been so tense since last night - your muscles are tired. I know you are afraid of the doctor's office but please go and get this taken care of. It's very easily treatable. If you're worried about dehydrating, just be sure to drink plenty of water. 64 oz is the recommended daily amount but you should drink more than that while you go through this - it will keep you hydrated and will help wash out the infection once you get some meds in you for it. Please let us know how it goes!! And don't worry - you'll be ok!!

I have gotten worse overnight. Now I am burining when I urinate and my head and body ache along with pelvic and back pain, and my temp is low-grade. I called my primary twice and I am waiting for a call-back, I just pray GOd they do not treat me like they did last time, turining me away with chest pains, I have a feeling they will not see me and as much as I do not like DOctors I need to go, my symptoms are scaring me and of course I am panicking and shaking with fear. Can a kidney or bladder infection spread to your body and cause a fatal result?? I do not understand why my head and body ache with nausea, I know I need an antibotic, I am so afraid they will tell me to go to a walk-in clinic again when they know I cannot, I have someone to watch my son while I walk to the DOctors {its only a 15 min walk but its very hot here in Florida} I just want to give a urine sample and see whats going on, should your whole body ache with a urine infection, that is not normal is it? I am so terrified, here alone with my young son, that Doctor office was so mean last time and I dread going back but I must, I feel like I have an infection overtaking my body and I am going to die, even my eyes ache and the temp scares me. PLease pray for me. I am going to call the DOctors office again. Debbie.
