hi everyone, thanks for all your support, you really are a great bunch of people. I went to the doctor and she gave me a sick line and some more meds. I'm feeling so much more positive after reading your messages. Thanks again.

When I first started having my anxiety, I wasn't working. I think it made it worse. Sitting around alone does not help. I know it sounds hard, but try to get out and do something even if it is only going to the store or taking a walk. I started working part time and I was sooo afraid to start. But I am glad I did do this.It has helped me take my mind off my anxiety.

I don't know if you have tried it or not, but this website offers a free 12 week course on Cognitive Behavior Therapy (The Panic Program). Start the program and start getting better. It's wonderful because you don't have to leave the house to work on it. It is extremely informative and helpful. I have been working on it and have noticed a difference. I'm learning that the only way to heal from this nightmare is through ourselves. Meds are great but they don't take away the problem. It has to come from within. We all have it within ourselves to do this - I promise! I know you're feeling really down on yourself right now but don't give up! You are stronger than you feel!

Lehleh, You are not alone...there is a lot of help...I know it takes so much energy to go to the doctor or even leave the house...I feel like no one understands sometimes as well...but there is help...my husband most of the time thinks I am 'crazy' and doing this to myself...but I find that this online support group helps a lot... I know it is difficult, but try the doctor....and if your doctor does not spend enough time with you, try another one... We are here for you...

Lehleh, Welcome to the support community. Have you tried our free program? Many members have raved about its success and usefulness. You may want to take our Anxiety test as well. You can print of a copy and give it to your doctor. This may help better assess the situation. Most of all our online support group is fabulous and very knowledgeable. These individuals know what you are going through and can help. Please let us know how we can help, Josie ______________________________ The Panic Center Support Team.

Hi, I'm glad i found this site because we are all in the same boat. I find that family don't understand and lack patience and the doctor is wanting you out of his office as quick as possible. I haven't been to work now in 3 weeks and I'm getting no money at all. I feel anxious most of the day andI don't want to do anything but when I don't do anything I woory that I'm getting worse and letting this thing get on top of me.I'm afraid to go to the doctors even the thought of it is making me nervous, what can I do? I just seem to be in limbo.
