Hi Ruby, I am glad to hear your Mother is getting better, thats how it goes little by little its too bad it could not happen quicker for all of us! You are a VERY good daughter, very caring, in time your boyfriend will understand its normal to worry about your Mother, he is probably just worried about you, my husband says that all the time "you worry about everybody worry about yourself" sometimes husbands and boyfriends do not understand I know its hard for them. I am praying for you. Take care of yourself and God bless you, Debbie.

Hi Debbie, Thanks for the information. My Mum went and seen a Physcriatrist not long ago and he diagnosed her with Major Depression and Anxiety. And also my Mum has Pyscotic symtoms as well. So the physcriatrist has put her on Lexapro which is an antidepressant and Solian which is an antipyscotic. Excuse my spelling. She is getting a little bit better each day so that's good news so far. The physcriatrist said that this was bought on by her doing jury service. I haven't been well, I have been having alot more anxiety attacks but I know that this is because I'm worried about my Mum. My boyfriend and I have been argueing as well. My boyfriend has been saying to me To stop worrying about your mother and start worrying about yourself. He says you allways worry about other people instead of yourself. And he also says no wonder your not any better. But the thing is how can you think about yourself only, when the person you love so much as I do my Mum is going through what she is going through. I hope you can understand what I mean, Thankyou for being a caring person and a good friend, Ruby.......

Hi. I have tried valium 10mg and xanax 1mg before, not at the same :-). Xanax has a better sedative effect for me. My counselor told me that xanax was stronger than valium.

Hi Ruby, I know valium is an older drug, Xanax is newer. I dont know if one is better than the other, Xanax enters and leaves the body very quickly where I believe Valium lasts longer. I take Klonopin and I really think its helped, it lasts awhile and calms me down, I also have taken Lorazapam and that was good too, Xanax did not work too well for me, it wore off too quickly and the anxiety would return, but is up to you, they are both benzo's and work pretty much the same, you could try Klonopin or Lorazapam. How is your Mother doing?? I have been wanting to ask you how she is feeling, I prayed for her, I hope the meds have started taken effect and she is a bit better, please write me back and let me know. I hope things are well with you too. GOd bless, Debbie.
