Hi, I am Debbie. I am weaning off Zoloft to go ON Paxil, I know everyone is different, I do like the Zoloft, but I loved the Paxil I took 2 years ago, it relaxed me but the Zoloft is too activating for me. I know what will not work for one works for another and visa versa. I also have those skipped heartbeats, I notice when I smoke too much or am under stress, I even hear my heartbeat in my ear sometimes!! Do you smoke? It may be a little withdrawal from the Paxil, once you start the Zoloft and get the serotonin back in your body that should go away, I do NOT think its a heart problem, just withdrawal from Paxil. Maiyaakemi, why did you not like Paxil, I was just curious about the side effects, the Paxil should be out or your system soon, did your nurse say why you should wait a week? My nurse said I could take the Paxil till I wean off the Zoloft, I am scared of that through. Please write back when you can, many many people LOVE Zoloft and I know you will be fine those heartbeats should ease soon. GOd bless, Debbie.

Hey all. I've been on paxil 10 mg for about a month. I hate it so I told my nurse to get me off of it. she wants me to wait 1 week so I can go back to 25 mg zoloft. zoloft is great for me. Lately, I've been having like flip-flop heart beats. it happens about 10 times a day. it's been about 3 days. I am just wondering if anyone else experience this. of course this makes me get very panicky and I get all sweaty and my heart races and I feel like I have to go number "2". My husband thinks that it is arrythmia(sp). I am so worried. I can't wait to go to the doctor on tuesday.
