I have done a lot of research to find the best way to get over this nightmare. In many sources, I have learned that Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) is the most effective way to beat this. The Panic Program offered on this website is a free 12 week program teaching CBT and is very informative and helpful. I am on week four and have noticed a difference. I strongly suggest you try it! For the first time in the 12 years I have been fighting this, I finally feel there is hope!
Panic and anxiety is a learned behavior and it can most certainly be unlearned. CBT teaches you how to unlearn this madness. It takes time, effort and determination but I truly believe we all have it within ourselves to do just that - I promise!
And when you have days you need help, we are here for you! There is noone on this support group that doesn't fully understand what you are going through every day!
