PAXIL PANIC

20 years ago 0 370 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I am going to call my nurse tomm and ask her to prescibe the Paxil CR I used to take, I would feel more comfortable, I took Klonopin before with the Paxil CR, I am slowly weaning off the Zoloft taking low dose every other day, I have to call my Insurance Co too to find out what they cover. If Paxil is a problem I will just stay on a low-dose Zoloft for awhile till I get more info, I am afraid to take it yet, so I will just take the Zoloft till I know. Lauren I would stay on 50 miligrams for about a week then go to 25 then maybe every other day, thats how I am doing it, but I don't know what your DOctor says, I am SO happy about the baby and excited for you. If anyone takes Klonopin with the Paxil please let me know! I hope everyone is having a good night. Thanks Grace and Lauren for your replies. God bless, Debbie.

I would go with the pharmacist. They know what they are talking about when it comes to mixing drugs. If you give them a call, they could explain it to you better I am sure. Changing meds is hard. Give it time and try to be patient. How are you weaning off the zoloft? I am weaning off mine now. I was on 100 mg and have cut down to 50mg for the last 3 nights. I am not sure how much longer to do this. Then would I go down to 25? Well, I hope you are doing well. Just try to relax and remind yourself that you feel bad because of the med switch.

Listen to the pharmacist. I trust them!!!!! Chances are that a drug rep came in and pushed their new Paxil and it is okay, just really new. However; go with the pharmacist and take it like he/she said.

I am weaning off the Zoloft slowly. My nurse said I could also take the Paxil {low-dose} the problem is this is the "new" generic Paxil "PEXEVA" its only 7 weeks approved by the FDA and its made by a company I have never heard of, it looks different from the regular Paxil, its made "chemically different" the Pharmacy said, I am scared to take it, its so new I don't want to find out 2 years from now its unsafe, I had an adderall scare with my son and cannot go through that again!! The pharmasist also said "I would not take the Klonopin and Paxil at the same time" I used to be on regular Paxil, does anyone take or know anything about this "PEXEVA PAXIL" I am scared to death to take it, I am going to try to get my regular paxil back, I am scared to death of this new med. Does anyone else take Paxil with Klonopin, I am shaking right now, this new Paxil, my nurse said to take the Paxil with the Klonopin but the Pharmacy said NO, I am SO confused, I am just taking the low Zoloft till I can talk to her. Any advice I would be grateful if anyone does take this new paxil or the other paxil with Klonopin. Thank you so much! Debbie.
