Debbie, I know it may not help but stress is a number one factor in delaying your cycle. It can reak HAVOC on your body. I can not tell you how many times I see women that are so stressed about being pregnant, they are actually delaying starting their period. When the test is neg, they are so happy they relax and boom! As for an ectopic pregnancy, the symptoms would be bleeding and very very painful cramping on one side. The type of pain that is nagging and will not go away. It is usually specific to one side. The thing is with these you will STILL get a positive pregnancy test because your body recognizes the hormones and such. I think your gonna be okay girl, it is the anxiety and panic that get us so worked up!

Your replies helped me alot ladies, thank you so much. I make a decision if just for today I am NOT going to cry and panic my little boy is on spring break and I want him to enjoy it not see me a mess. I am going to take the test in a few days just so I know its accurate. I know so little about perimenopause if this is normal to skip and be late 10 days! I am cramping badly and feel ready to start any minute, but the flow just won't start, I wish we had a chat too. My husband mentioned a "ectopic pregnancy" I am trying not freak out about that, I know I could die from that, the cramps are bad I think with an ectopic the pain is much worse {I hope I am right} Just for today I am going to try NOT to fall apart, I am so very exhausted and drained from the constant worry and the stroke symptoms scared me last night, now I know the effects horrible stress has on the body. I am trying to think positive thoughts and I am praying I will be alright. Anytime you want to write me please do, your concern and compassion warm my heart and help me. Thanks, Deb.

Debbi, Thank you for sharing your story. Please use some relaxing techinques to keep you calm. Since you do not know what the outcome is yet, you need to relax and keep calm. Once you have the results back, you can then sit down and go over available options with your family, with all the facts if needed. For now you need to destress and relax. Debbi I am so very sorry and wish I knew the words to say to make you feel better. You are totally stressed out and rest is best right now. When you start finding your thoughts going to the "what ifs" try some deep breathing and look for something to occupy your mind if possible. Sending you prayers

Something happened to me about an hour ago, I had a explosion in my head and I got so dizzy I vomited now my head hurts and I am slurring my words. I want to go to ER but afraid they will admit me. I have been under extreme pressure about a unplanned pregnancy, I am very late with my monthly and have to have a test Friday, one was negative but my nurse said I performed it too early, I cannot eat all I do is sleep I feel like I am having a nervous breakdown my husband is livid with me and my young son is so confused, I have always in the past pulled it together for my son but this time I am unable to I feel like I am going to die soon, noone can feel this bad and still live it seems. I am 44 years and I am so worried about a baby being born with downs syndrome or blind retarted or deaf also I am not stable or healthy enough to carry a child, but abortion fills me with terror and guilt. I think the constand stress and nerves have fianlly broke me I cannot function, I called my nurse-practioner she said to take Klonopin, it may not be pregnancy just the change of life beginning, I want to believe her but I feel pregnant like I was before. If anyone can help I would appreciate it, I am just going to go to bed for a few days I can't take feeling like this knowing I may have to terminate a child. When I am in bed that is the only time I feel half way alright. I hope I did not ramble just very naucous and dizzy. Thank you Debbie.
