Back to the basics avoiding a meltdown...

Hi Red,

You have been challenged a lot lately and have remained strong for a very long time. It is ok to have days like these - although it doesn't make it any easier. Just don't be too hard on yourself for it. No one can be the responsible one all the time.

How will you be getting back to the basics today?

When I am feeling really stressed and anxious and on the verge of panic I go back to working the basics. For me that is using the 10 questions list found here in the program sessions. Sometimes I get complacent when it comes to challenging my anxious and negative thoughts and that can lead to trouble. Sometimes it just seems like there is so much going on that I just can't keep up and things start getting out of hand again..and I forget to go back to the basics. I have had a couple of  melt downs lately and am feeling very vulnerable. Overload and taking on to many responsibilities is a contributor and can lead to a major meltdown..and the last thing I want is to have major meltdown..I am the responsible one..

Just thinking out loud..
