Good deal. I am glad to see you are exploring all your options..There are a few of us that work on the programs in both sights..You will see us both here and there so you won't be alone on the other site...Just take what you need from them both and it will help...Well I gotta go for now I am trying to get ready to go for a walk again this morning before the sun comes out. I got pretty sunburned yesterday at the beach..

I'm so glad to have read your reply. I was feeling pretty depressed and it got worse last night and its' still lingering around. I think I will check out the depression site. I went on it a long long time ago and never have gone back.. but I've been feeling more depressed than panic lately so I think I will. I think I have that problem as well of being the passenger. Well, I don't like to drive either though. That was one of the reasons I've been depressed. But you are right, when I'm depressed, I make everything negative and ignore the real small stuff.

Hi anerol,
Its great to hear that took the car out for a spin again..and are thinking about starting to work the program again..You're doing great..Just take it slow and it will work out fine. I am glad you like my little bird he's having a great time flying here and there....
I haven't been out in the car again yet but one thing I did find out is I am much more comfortable driving myself that being a passenger in the car..We have decided it is just better for me to drive myself because I just can't stop panicking when I am a passenger..Its been 6 yrs now and it hasn't improved..So now I am driving myself again and it is so much better for me. If we go on a long trip in the car again and someone else is driving I will just take my valium. 
You mentioned staggering in the middle of the program...I have never really finished the program from beginning to end myself either and have just started working on core beliefs...as for relaxation when outside, I limit my time outside in crowds and when I have had enough I leave what ever situation I am in if I can and just figure I will try it again later...Its kind of like when you mentioned going to the library and getting the books you wanted on your list even thought it was crowded...It was uncomfortable and you had some anxiety but you didn't panic..See for me a day like that is a great day..I think we need to reward ourselves and pat ourselves on the back when we have accomplishments like this..
I find that over time I am able to stay in situations longer than before, kind of like I am building up a tolerance to the crowds and the outside world...So little by little I am able to enjoy my life more than before..

As for core beliefs the panic centers sister site the depression center has a lot more information in there program on core beliefs than the program here does which has been very helpful to me..I started in the depression before I came here and have just gone back recently to work on some issues I am having with my core beliefs..There program goes into core beliefs much more deeply and explains it very throughly..You may want to check it out sometime..Anyway I just wanted to pass this information on to you and say hello and say keep doing what you are doing and things will get a little better each day....Your doing great and give yourself a big pat on back!

That's great you were able to make amends. That takes a lot of energy and effort and it's very inspiring. Good job and thanks. Today I pulled a muscle on my neck so it's been a bit irritating. But yesterday, I went for a little spin in the car again and drove a teeny bit again. I think I will start working on the program again. I seem to never be able to finish it and always stagger at the middle.  I have not accomplished at making a relaxation technique that works for me when I'm outside. And I've still haven't figured out my core beliefs.

I signed in when I got home to read you latest post and saw you new pic....Your artwork is so beautiful..Thanks for putting it up for us to enjoy...Its good to hear you got out for a walk today and said Good morning to your neighbor. We seem to kind of be on the same wave link today...
 
As for me I drove to the lake near my home and went for a walk early this morning while it was still overcast..It was beautiful out. The other people walking were friendly and cheerful and greeted us with a good morning hello and I was able to respond back with a good morning to them all.. I even took the initiative and said good morning to a lady and her daughter and they smiled and said hello and good morning back.. This is a first for me..I was feeling so good when I got home that I decided to share my home grown tomatoes with the neighbor next door, kind of a peace offering.of sorts.We have had a feud going on for years, he is kind of a bully..My partner delivered them and now the neighbors seemed much happier and friendlier this afternoon..They say love thy neighbor..This was something I never thought I would be able to do...So all in all it has been a very good day..I have been working on my core beliefs slowly but surely and I think it is finally starting to pay off....

That's so nice. I'm glad you were able to conquer your dislike of flying or still do it even if you don't like to. It's encouraging. I hope I can find something that will make it worth doing it someday. But I'll remember your success to keep faith in mine.

Thanks for the encouragement again. And congrats on your outing. I also was able to go out for a small walk this morning. I also bumped into the mean neighbor but once I looked into his eyes and said 'good morning' he didn't seem as mean as always. Maybe we're all not so different.
