HAPPY BIRTHDAY Brenda!      Hope you have a lovely day today.  I am in my early 60's too.  I look back sometimes and think if I only knew then what I know now.  I guess we grow with each experience eh?  Life is beautiful.  Enjoy your day.

I bought a good used hospital bed so that I could get into a position that did not put pressure on my legs when I had staph infection. Unfortunately even used ones start at a thousand. The staph appears to be gone and I feel I could go back to my regular bed except the memory of all the pain there may be a trigger and I am reluctant to open that can of worms. So for the time being I am still using my hospital bed or recliner and spending some time on my bed, mostly watching movies. It will take some time for me to get my body used to the unfamiliar position. In fact I may never. So far the bed doesn't appear to be a trigger. But pain forces me off it before I can find out. I have pretty much accepted that the hospital bed may be a necessary fact of life and aging. Is that so bad I wonder, in the mean time I keep trying.

Just an aside: T3s give me restless leg syndrome and then I can not sleep anywhere till it goes away. So I use something else for the pain that doesn't do this.

Brenda, have a nice Birthday tomorrow and know that if I could give you a good nights sleep I would gladly do it.

Hello Brenda:  Sounds like a rough night.  Hang in there.  I used to have those nights, I know how exhausting and nerve wracking they can be.  Keep posting, we care.
