Hi Juanita:  Way to go!  Your husband noticed and you didn't.  You weren't even thinking about it.  The dragon didn't even have a chance to blow a little steam, you already had him on a leash and muzzled.  Woohoo.  Really happy for you.

Thanks for sharing Juanita!

This is great.  Is there any component which really stands out that helped you along or do you think it was the program as a whole?

Whatever it was, it was in large due to your hard work and commitment.   Awesome.

Please keep on sharing your success with us!

Juanita, and everyone.

This is exactly how it happens. If you don't force it it just happens. And I was just as surprised as Juanita the first time it happened. You will be too.

Juanita, I bet your hubby is just as happy as you are.

Here for you
Uncle Davit.

Hi!
Yesterday I had a  huge  success, and I didn't even know it until it was pointed out to me.
I went to get hubby at the airport...I met him inside by the gate. The place was teeming with people.  When we got to the car he looked at me and said  "who are you?"   For a second it didn't even register....then we laughed..you see, everytime I went to get him before I never went in the actual  airport. I would wait either  in the car, or if the weather was good, outside the doors with the dog(my excuse for not having to go in). all kinds of memories came back to me ..last year a friend flew in to where I was living..hubby was a way, I had to go to the airport and get her. I had extreme anxiety before hand, and a huge panic attack just looking at the doors. I could not go in.  I had to go sit down...anyhow, she  eventually came outside, and found me. After that  she became one of the few people that knew about my anxiety. I couldn't hide it then.
So wow! Have I ever changed! It didn't bother me one bit... I was as cool as a cucumber ...   so if you are new here, I'm proof that success can be had..its working so well  for me!

Hi Ashley,

Thank you for your reply!  I guess I just look at this experience as a
stepping stone to the next challenge, knowing that if I can do this and not panic
I can try more exposures. And I know that their will be stumbles but I can
make it through.  And that to me is my best reward of all.
My best to all.

HALLELUJAH!!

I just needed to let that out!  It is a big, big, huge deal.  Everything you said in your last post put a huge smile on my face!  You get this!  You are doing this!  Nice work!

What does this mean to you?  Knowing how hard you have worked, how does it feel knowing you are conquering this?

Sorry if I ask a lot of questions but I really want you to savour this and appreciate it.  Really sit in how this feels!  You deserve to celebrate this.

Plus I like reading about it too

Hi Cleo, Ashley, Sunny123 and Davit,

Thank you for the support and davit you were not to bland you took the time to reply
and that was plenty!

Ashley you asked me what I thought kept me calm, it was a couple of things one
being that I think of everyone on this site, reading their coping techniques for different
situations, and I guess knowing that if I have an attack its not the end of the world
and nothing that I haven't had before that I made it through, that even though attacks
are uncomfortable I can still do it and be ok. And I have to say that my hubby is
a huge support for me, sometimes he gives me that little push I need to just do it
and darn it he's always right! LOL Don't tell him that! LOL.

My best to all
