Hi there, my question was similar to Maria's with health and physical symptoms whereas mine are more on a monthly basis, particularly around premenstrual time. I do understand that your hormones play a huge role during this time, but is there something you can take during the week before your period or is it just to self talk yourself through this period and frequently remind yourself that it is just "this time" and to try and relax about the symptoms?
I guess it would be helpful to understand the relationship between hormonal changes and how it affects anxiety and panic.
O.K. I'll go first. :) Even though I haven't had a panic attack in about a month and am feeling better than I have in weeks, I still get mild moments of anxiety almost every evening. It very typically happens in the evening and it always manifests itself in my stomach. It's like a feeling of anticipation. My anxiety has always been connected to health and physical symptoms so I am by now pretty in tune with where the anxiety settles. I'm wondering, in general, do people with anxiety/panic feel mild moments of axiety most of the time? Is it normal that I have this almost every evening? It doesn't disturb my going to sleep and I don't even have any anxious thoughts in my head when I notice the symptom in my stomach. It truly appears to come from no where and can last for a few moments to sometimes longer. Will I always feel this way?
