Hello I am the same with dentists, the last time I went I shook so much that I dropped and broke his protective glasses, though I must say that once the neede bit is over I tend to relax and calm down a lot - though next time I'll be having an extraction so that wont be so hot! Still, I think it gets easier every time I go as I am building up a trust wih the dentist, and it helps that the staff are so caring and understanding to I think. Well done you for getting over a big hurdle! Corryn

Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you all know that all my dental work is complete. I now have a bright new smile which I am so thrilled about. I have found the nicest Dentist who really understands my fears. His hygenist is the sweetest person. When I had to get frozen (and boy did I get frozen alot) she held my hand through it all. I took a relaxation CD with me each time and listened to it prior to getting the work done. No.... this was not easy but in the end I am glad I faced the fear.

Hi everyone, Well it is all over with! I must say though for all of you afraid of Dentists, needles, etc take the freezing with the adrenaline in it. I chose not to and ended getting more needles than I really expected as the freezing was not strong enough. There is medication(not sure of the name) that you can take to calm you down prior to going to the Dentist. I actually ended up doing lots of exposure work yesterday. I went to the Dentist, I went way out of my comfort zone, And went the a tunnel which I hate. Well I have one more appointment On October 11th to get my permenent crowns. That appointmenet should be short and sweet. Thanks for your thoughts
