HI Vickers, i also have the same feelings as you. I always feel dizzy lately too. I also get soooooooo weak as if i just ran a marathon or something. I find that i get weaker after i eat. I went to get a blood test for this, so i pray to god that i dont have any digestive problems. I also get that trembly feeling. And its been with me a lot lately. Especially when i'm at school (in class), i feel so nervous for no reason. Its an annoying feeling. I just wish i can feel in control again. My boyfriend is supportive. But i also feel like he gets frustrated with me. The problem is that people who never had anxiety before WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND people with anxiety no matter how hard they try. so, no matter how many times i explain to him....he will not fully understand my feelings. But, he is there for me. So I hope everyone here has a supportive family or partner to get through this! Alison, my heart still beats fast too. I am sitting here studying, and its beating fast. ughhhhhhhhhh how annoying is that. I hope u feel better :)

vickers4, I too get dizzy spells and lightheadness, it seems to bother me more in the first few hours after I wake up. this might sound weird but sometimes it makes me feel like I'm having an out of body experience. if that makes any sense to you. almost like the realization of life is gone for a few seconds. Maybe this is just me but hang in there it is most likely due to anxiety. if your doctors have done tests for diabetes, it would have shown up in the blood tests.Take care and hope to see you post soon.

I feel like every day & have done for years. I also get the rapid heart beat & feel very scared. If I am distracted, I also almost forget about it. I am only just learning now that I can actually help this - and it is getting better, albiet slowly. I cannot believe there are other people that feel like this! :)

Hey Vickers, I have an the EXACT feelings, numbness, trembling, like you could faint any any moment but you don't. And the more you focus on the worse it is? Yep, been there...lots ;) Right now I'm struggling with this rapid heart beat thing. I guess either a) it's nothing or b) it's something horrible that I can't do anything about. When I'm rushing around or bending over picking things up or whatever, it gets really bad. Took my pulse while I was cleaning up cause I'll I could feel was my heartbeating out of my chest and it was just over 100 beat a minute, but it was so much harder than normal. Took and xanax and went to church! I hate this so badly! I'm thinking the average person doesn't get freaked out over these things....

I have always had dizzy spells but for some reason, it seems like it's been worse than usual the last month or two. Sometimes I feel like I'm really weak, sometimes it's like a buzzy feeling - that one doesn't last long though. Sometimes it's just like a light headed feeling and sometimes it's kind of a numb and distant feeling. And the last few days, I keep feeling trembly. Logically, I'm sure this is just anxiety because if I'm preoccupied, I don't get this feeling. If I'm at work, it's worse but it starts to go away when I leave for lunch or to go home. And it gets worse when I'm thinking about it. I've been tested for diabetes - most recently being about 4 or 5 months ago. It always comes up negative. But, I keep thinking it's diabetes because if I eat something, sometimes I start to feel better. I am overweight and about 3 years ago I was told I had pre-diabetes. I lost 55 lbs (still have a ways to go) and was tested again and was told I was back on target with the blood sugar and not to worry about it. I've been tested a few times since then and it is always negative. Does anyone else get this way? Any tips or advice?
