Conflicting diagnoses

5 years ago 0 11216 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hi Jayar,

I am sorry you are feeling frustrated. Whether you are mentally ill or "just an alcoholic" you can still start to take steps to change your behaviour. Most mental health issues are amplified when drinking alcohol; so, if you are able to moderate or abstain, I think in the long run it would be beneficial.  You can work on the program here regardless of diagnosis; so, I encourage you to get started.  We will be here to support you if you have any thoughts to share or questions.

I get bumped around like a rotten turnip. None of the psychiatrists or doctors agree on whether I am mentally ill or just alcoholic. And they all want to be rid of me. Does that help? NO. I feel like a hackysack. Kick it somewhere else!
