Hello Everyone,

I haven't posted in awhile. My life has been going really well and I thought I'd bring everybody up to speed : )
I had to think back to when I joined this forum and how long it has been since I've had a drink. In a couple of days it will be 4 months.

I made my goal of biking a 100 miles with our local bike club on the Saturday before Mother's Day. The ride was called a Tailwind. By riding with the wind it makes it somewhat easier. Everyone was taken by bus to Monroe, Wisconsin and then we road back to our cars in Moline, Illinois. We stopped at what is known as a Sag stop for lunch in Thompson, Illinois. The total distance I road that day was 105.81 miles. I had a lot of fun that day!

Everyone went to a local microbrew in the area after the ride. I was invited but I didn't want to go. I'm past all that nonsense. I made an excuse about being to tired and sore, Hahahaha. What I really wanted to do was go home to my wife and be with her. We had a great dinner and just enjoyed being with each other and talking about our day.

My next adventure on my bike will be in June. A two day ride called TOMRV. The tour of the Mississippi River Valley. From Davenport to Dubuque Iowa. Stay over night and ride home the next day. I'm training hard for my next goal. I know that I'll do just fine.

Take care everyone,
Rich
