Great job Emma!  It sure feels good to make it though a weekend without alcohol, doesn't it?  Get through the first few weeks and things do get easier.  Sending you strength!

This is the first weekend in a very long time that I have not had anything to drink. After blowing up from all of the drink and food last week, I have dropped 6 lbs since Wednesday. Water, no doubt. I feel good today. My mind is clear and I'm able to focus on the day. It snowed last night. Although it's chilly, the sun is shining. I just took the dog for a walk and now getting ready to keep working on those chores that I had been neglecting, maybe even do a little schoolwork. It's a small success but it's a start. Today is day 5. :)
