Snap,

Get in there and be ready!  The temptation will come no matter what, so be ready with coping mechanisms and avoidance techniques. As Rusty said try and avoid situation that will create temptation.  If your bored use those mechanisms to occupy you and keep you busy.

Good for you for pledging to stay sober today!

I've been there, done that.  Keep trying.  It will be worth it.  Currently on 9th day sober.  Put myself in a situation where is virtually impossible to have a drink.  Situation ends Thursday.  We'll see then how I do.

Keep trying.

I "jumped off" the wagon last night...

I couldn't handle the cravings anymore.  I had 5 beers... I really enjoyed the inebriating effect, I was relaxed and watched TV.

I'm tired of "white knuckling" through this ....the cravings get overwhelming =[

I will not drink today, and I will continue to abstain... I plan on going to my AA meeting on tuesday.
