natural alternatives to meds?

Wow! And I thought I had it bad! I'm at least not house bound....that has got to be the worst! I still work, take kids to where they need to go, have a husband, ( who is very supportive even tho he doesn't understand it)...but some days are very difficult. I sincerely hope my kids don't have the same problem since I read somewhere it could be genetic. My sister has panic's also. But out of 5 of us, only 2 have the actual attacks. She goes numb when she has them. We often wonder if our parents had them (they died young) since my father was an alcoholic (could have drowned the attacks?) and we think mom had problems - but not sure. you don't have any family that can help?

Yup 44 years.....have been able to do some things with people but never on my own. Outlived all family...a couple of neighbors get food but when they're gone I'm sunk. Therapies? I'm an expert....name it, I've tried it but now I can't get to anyone and there's no money to pay for treatment anyway. I'm still searching...still hoping someday I'll be able to even go to a grocery by myself and get what I need instead of having to beg and plead for someone to bring even a gallon of milk.

Have you been housebound for 44 yrs? And still no luck in controling it?

Charley: I wish the "experts" would get something right. Each one as THE answer and then you talk to another one and they have THE answer and on and on. I've had 44 years of "answers" and still housebound. If you start asking them logical questions that you'd like answers to, then you're "not cooperating" and if their particular "answer" doesn't work then it's because "you're not trying hard enough, or you don't REALLY want to get any better, or what is you're secondary gain from staying sick?" I gotta say that this has been a long long road of learning experiences tho and unfortunately I'm still looking.

I usually buy online and if I decide on the anxius or anxiol7 I think they are only online but am definitely going to try the theanine....it says you can take it 3 x a day if you want. I wonder IF it is brain chemistry if they'll ever figure WHAT chemistry it is and what is needed to fix it..this hit and miss stuff is so annoying.....

I have never taken it during the day only at night when i want to sleep, so i don't know if it helps in that area. I just know it is the one thing that quiets my head down so I can go to sleep. I only take one capsule, and to tell you the truth, i'm not really sure how many mg's it is. I asked about a relaxing vitamin at my local health food store and they recommended it. do you have a store near you that you can purchase these items?

Charley..... Do you find the theanine is really helpful for the phobia in general? How much and how often do you take it? Has it allowed or helped you do things you might not have been able to do before?

I use the L-Theanine. It helps me relax enough to go to sleep at night. I can tell you there are no side effects to this one! I like it since you don't feel groggy in the morning. I highly recommend it.

I have fish oil caps...1000 mg...sometimes I forget to take them...they are good for a lot of things.. After staying on the computer all day yesterday...I think I'm going to try L- theanine to start out with...supposed to be no side effects or habit forming and is supposed to work within 30 mins or less..has a calming, alpha wave producing effect on the brain....the other 2 that are forumlas that I like are Anxius and Anxietol7. In fact the anxietol was rated very highly by some testing place (I looked at so much yesterday I can't remember) the other two Seredyn and clarocet have a lot of sedative herbs in them. Not that I'm against that but I dont want to feel like I want to sleep all the time either. Anyone deciding to try any of these please post results.....
