Thanks for posting everyone. One of my character traits that causes me problems is that I get discouraged easily at times. I thought that this " Won a day " thread was an awesome idea. It wasn't my idea but one that evolved through the other members here. I thought it one of the best ideas in a long time. I thought it perfect for the newbie where they could check in with their daily acheivements and receive the support from each other that they deserve. Lil and Charm it's your thread , not mine. It's for the person with one day or a few weeks just trying to hang on because if this thread lives there's going to be a lot of hope here. So you do that Charm ok. If it lives it was supposed to , if it doesn't it wasn't. Excellent for you. breather

Breather,

I have read all your "recent" posts since I joined, the information you give helps me a lot.  I am still in the preparation stage (Final Countdown Plan) in the program, my quit date is 10-1-10 and I am looking forward to posting in the "Won a day" discussion..even if I have to dig it off the bottom of the forum and bring it back up to the top...lol

Keep posting away...I am listening...

Okay??

Hey again!

We must have been writing at the same time.  Sorry to hear about your bad weekend.  Hopefully when the new version comes on line, it will include the new and improved messaging program that was promised and we can get a chance to chat once again!  I'm really looking forward to that!

Take care and lets win another day!

Vent to your hearts content ... I didn't take it personally ... I am too stupid to be sensitive!  I was around at the weekend but no one was posting, I thought maybe you'd all agreed to go on strike without me!!

I am sorry to hear that your weekend was not an easy one for you ... but remember there are people lurking here quietly in the background if you ever do need a friend ... just holler x

Take care Breather.

Luv Lil xx

Hey Don!!!

I've won quite a few days since I've had time to get back to check on all of my quit buddies here!  I'm so glad to see that you are frequenting the site more often now a days and hopefully I'll be able to do the same soon!  I do finally see light at the end of the tunnel from our move to the new research building, but I know that it won't be able to spend the time here that I used to for a few more weeks.  I'm really looking forward to that day!

Please don't get discouraged about slow responses, etc. Your posts are important and definitely  NOT  a waste of time!  As you know, everyone does have their own reasons for being here and posting  AND their reasons for not spending much time posting.  Over the past few months I have only had time to get here to read some posts and find out how everyone is doing.  Finding the time to post was almost impossible.  Life does get in the way some times!

Anyways, keep on posting and supporting all of our fellow quit buddies!  Whether or not you know it, every post of yours does make an impact on someone's life and quit.  You have definitely made an important impact on mine!

       Thanks for being here, Buddy!!!

Hey Lil Yay for you. You're doing awesome. I had to vent but it wasn't aimed at you. It seems that come Friday night everybody leaves. It's always been that way. The problem is that the desire to smoke doesn't go away Friday night and come back on Monday. It's a 24 hour a day 7 day a week addiction , not 9 to 5 Monday to Friday. I had something happen on the weekend in my close circle that's too horrific to even mention on these pages so I'm not quite myself. Not smoking today. Excellent for you. breather

Aww! Dont be like that ... you're NOT on you own, you've got Rock ... and now ... you've got ... me!

(although, it is a pitiful poor turn out on the forum these days ... it wouldn't take you to be desperate  )

Anyway ... I won a day ... woo hoo!!  another one bites the dust
