Regarding your "Freedom Meter", please cut and paste into your post for now. Forums are located under community, just move your mouse to the word community (at the top) and you will see "forums" pop up! The IT team is diligently working on all the bugs and new features, it will be up and running soon.

Hi Jim!

How's it going in your neck of the woods these days?

I've been busy working out of town and finally got home from a vacation so thought I'd drop in to see what's up at SSC. It sure looks like a brand new place and I started with this thread. Naturally, I missed the post explaining what was going on and I figured it out after I'd already posted

Hey Lady!

We were told in a previous post that there are still bugs to be "exterminated"! We were told our Educational Professionals are on top of it and trying to whip those IT folks into shape to get our "Freedom Meter" to show up on our posts! I'm betting it won't be long!!!

I'm honored that you used my idea ,as well as, to be a SSC member! I love to be involved in these kind of things. I think I missed my calling! When I was in college (many moons ago) I had to come up with a marketing campaign for a product I dreamed up. I came up with gum with nicotine in it and called it "Tacky Tobbaccy." If only I patented my idea back then!

I can't say enough for fellow members and for all you wonderful Mods here in helping me get control over quit this horrible addiction! Ismoked like a chimney - forever!

nice job on the site.....just starting to play around here. Is there a shortcut to the top latest discussions? That was nice to keep from wading through previous areas. Seems to be lots of new members all doing great at their quits, too!!!!

Tresa I was having the same problem. If you download a newer browser version it should solve the problem. I was using internet explorer 6.0 while 8.0 was available. The newer version solved the problem. breather

Well I guess you already know now that we have decided to rename the quit meter to Freedometer!
