Oh MM, unfortunately I guess it was just a matter of time. That being said, did you order an "out there" wig? Somehow, I think you might have. My Mileage:

Thank you guys for all the thoughts, concern and well wishes. I certainly feel lucky having good people at all corners of the earth praying for me.
I had CT scans, MRI's and a whole body bone scan. The MRI's on my head were clear (). CT scans showed a small spot on my liver and another on an adrenal gland that may/may not even be related to the cancer. Bone scan was clear except for a spot on my right femur, again it may not be related to the cancer. I have a PET of the whole body next week and a port being put into chest also. I'm looking forward to the port~I'm beginning to look like a junkie! The tumor in my chest is causing the upper portion of my right lung to collapse, so they are starting radiation and chemo both. I was awfully relieved that there were no spots on the brain and the news was fairly good. I kept thinking it was going to be all over because I hurt so bad in my shoulder, arm, chest and neck on the right side. The oncologist gave me some happy pills for the pain.
Thank you for sharing your story, Lolly. I really have never had any contact with anyone with cancer and your post helped a lot. It has never run in either side of my family. My only risk factor was 30 years of smoking---what does that tell you? I have enjoyed reading some of the stories that offer hope and encouragement.
My entire family is in town to visit for the weekend. That's always an interesting event... With the whole lot of them in close quarters, they are in much more danger than I am, for sure!
