Welcome... and congrats on your quit... your are almost through Hell Week.... you can do this.
I had to stay away from "going out for drinks" for the first couple of weeks at least because I knew that was a trigger... You will need to find something else to do after work... how about a nice long walk... or go home, have a nice long bubble bath, relaxing music... of even start a new hobby... (knitting, cross stitching..... it keeps your hands busy)
Stay strong... keep saying NOPE (not one puff ever)...  you can do this.

    Cigarettes Not Smoked

16 years ago 0 2 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
started stoping since monday.I stopped smocking for 3 days now (voluntarily).

For a non smoker, it does not sound particular.

But knowing I  have had at least 10 cigarette (minimum) a day, every day, the last 10 years means a big step for me.

I stopped because:
1) I was starting to get shortness of breath,
2) I am 30, and can expect to have lung cancer in the next 15 year
3) sorry, but smoking is really useless,
4) has had not taste at all for me the last months,
5) Main issue, smoking , I think, reduces the chances of getting pregnant…

At the moment, I am not missing it at all. Still I am frightened of the moments I will go out with friends, for a drink - or how can I find a way to relax after work now??
I hope that I wont be tempted.
And Yes, my lung feel so free, I can breath deeply, it feels like a “luxury class of breath” and “lung upgrade”…
I am realising I was paying to feel bad.
Bye,
