Morgan, welcome to the SSC and congratulations on thinking about quitting smoking. I smoke for 20 years, 2 packs a day. I had some medical issues that started in April 2008. After my oncologist gave me some food for thought on August 18 (either quit smoking or you'll be on meds for the rest of your life, weekly blood tests, daily shots in my stomach, etc.) I decided to quit smoking two days later. You are young. I don't want you to go through what I went through. When you make the decision to quit, just be sure you are quitting for YOU! Go through "my program" as there is a wealth of information there. And spend some time reading here too. There is some good stuff on this site. Let us know when you are ready to take the plunge and we'll all be here to help you along!
