(((Sparky))), I haven't been around here alot lately, so I just saw this thread. So sorry you slipped. I know how hard it is sometimes to deal with "stuff", bad feelings and / or bad events. Know this Sparky, having a good long cry is better than smoking, getting angry and beating a pillow till you feel better, is better than smoking, screaming at the top of your lungs is better than smoking, asking someone for help is better than smoking, writing in a journal is better than smoking. Pretty much anything is better than smoking. You have to take that option off the table entirely.
My point is, there are other ways to help alleviate those feelings. You already know that smoking didn't make it better, it just made you feel worse and threw you back to square one. I wish there was more I could do to help. The bad feelings do pass, the bad events also pass, whether you smoke or not. Please give it another go and get through that patch that seems to throw you off your path. You obviously have a ton of wonderful friends here to cheer you on!

aaawwww (((( sparky ))))  I am so sorry that you slipped I really prayed that you had the monster beat this time, We have something in common we haven't totally lost because we haven't quit quitting. I only made it 5 days at the begining of the month, had alot of sad things going on and of course I used it as an excuse to smoke. I wasn't even going to post here anymore cause I feel like such a yo-yo but when I saw your post I had to give you a hug and say that I do truly understand what you are going through. Never quit believing that you and I are going to finally beat this demon one day.  (((((( hugs )))))))

I was just reading on another thread about the courage it takes to come back and admit that you've gone back to smoking. You do have so much courage and I am always proud of you.
