deb A good idea to get lots of sleep. I slept lots early in my quit. One day is huge but 10 days is 10 X huge. Yay for you. Excellent breather

Quick note because I decided in the tiny bit of time I had to post today to respond to another's post. I made it through today..... was a tough day though. You have all given me so much to keep going, and I really needed these posts today. I was able to read, but not respond until now.
It was just a plain all out fight today. Not as easy... horrible toothe and nail fight. But I'm going to bed still smelling good! No smoking!
Just wanting some sweet precious sleep and hoping for an easier day tomorrow. This is so hard at times.

Glad you had a break from the cravings today Deb. It can be so wearing, but when we do get help from an unexpected source, its like take a ton of bricks off our shoulders. Enjoy the peace...

Ahhh..... finally. It's been a crazy day starting off with running late to work with no time to do a nice grounding post in the morning. Wednesdays are hard.
BUT, today was incredible at work. On Wednesdays I do group therapy, and we did some work around integrity, values, and walking our talk. There are many days when I feel the group gives me far more than I give them. They had a exercise to do around their values and I was brought close to tears. They poured out their values and their reasons for getting up in the morning.... it was incredibly moving. Because of their work, they gave me the gift of reminding me why I choose not to smoke. There really is so much more to life. Important stuff.
I was craving a lot today until then. I still feel tired from the battle, but there was something very spiritual about this day that took over. Suddenly the cravings didn't seem important anymore. The nicodemon was put in his place.
We are stronger than we think.
keep the quit all of you.
