Cndn Mom,

Congratulations on making the decision to quit and welcome to our support community! You've come to the right place to get support and advice to help you through your quit.

We suggest you take some time to browse through the site and get started working through the program. Start to build a quit plan and get ready to face your triggers.

Keep us posted on your progress.

Well Hello All:
This is my first time here, but not my first time trying to quit.  But I have a true motivation to quit.

My very smart 3 year old daughter has started to catch on to what I am doing.  I have never smoked in front of her and I have never smoked in our house.  I go out to the garage to have my cigarettes and recently she has been telling me how bad I "stink".  She has also commented on that my teeth are a little yellow.  The worst one being, as I was going into the garage, she told me not to go in there to have a cigarette.  SO she is on to me... lol

I lost my mother in 2007 to lung cancer (that is where all her cancer started) and she smoked a pack a day or more.  I just don't want to put my daughter through what I went through with my mother.

So I will be dropping in from time to time to looking for a bit of support

Thanks for reading

Cheers
Tina
