Thanks Shevie!
Neuropsychology is fascinating and that was written very well. The more I know what my brain is up to in there, the better. And I haven't yet rewarded myself at all really. So I'm gonna get on that. If it takes a year of rewards-- so be it! I'll bite that bullet! I'll do it for the team! :) (the news about quitting smoking just keeps getting better and better).
Thanks for the post
Deborah

I just read it for the first time, and it gives such an optimistic feeling.. No matter how we feel in the beggining, it goes away soon enough and we can help it go away by rewarding ourselves on our significant quit anniversaries!!

Thank Shevie!!!
I have only see a little bit of your inspiring material so far, but everything that I have read so far has been VERY motivational for me, and I am sure for others as well!!! I think that it would be very helpful to all of us recent quitters to stop by a bit more often, even if it is just to bump a post that hasn't popped up in a while!!!
I was really happy that we had some bumps, posts and/or reposts from you, Penitent and Duffis all in one day! You three should collaborate and come up with the next quit smoking best seller!!!
On another note, this post has reminded me that I definitely do not reward myself enough and I plan to do something about that!!!
Jim

This is very informative and enlightening Perhaps it goes a way to explain the emotions that flood us during our quits. Sad Mad Bad
soon to pass I hope. Causing much turmoil in my life. Getting mad enough to just quit quitting, no never respect and cherish the quit. mMay God bless> Dennis
