Feeling quite strange

Hi Paula!

This is your other Irish friend.  I  am pleased that you are doing so well remember this and thank yourself each time that you say NO.  Quitting is a trying matter although very possible indeed.  I think a distraction is needed for you at this time.  We all need distraction.  How about a nice ice tea or some gum or a walk or a talk with a bud!

Btw,

Please add your quit stats to my thread "chiming in...."
Thank you

Has something triggered this? Take the time to think it through and then get moving!  Shove it to the side and plan a relaxing or busy night.  Your doing an amazing job, so don't let those emotions and feelings get you down!

Grab a coffee or a movie with a friend, this will help!

I don't really know what this post is going to be about or if there's any purpose to it but I've noticed that I've been feeling a bit peculiar the past few days. You know when its difficult to describe how you feel, well its one of those feelings! I'm kinda anxious or nervous i think, have a feeling in my chest and throat that I used to have when I wanted a cig and my mouth is really dry and has a strange taste. Its wearing me down a bit. At any time during the day I get anxious and my heart starts pounding. I'm sitting at a desk so I'm not doing anything strenuous! I can't explain it, there's no reason for me to be feeling this way and I just don't know how to stop it. I keep thinking of taking a long pull from a cig and the smoke going down my throat and into my chest and making this horrible feeling go away. That's why I'm posting now. As I'm writing and talking about it, the feeling is getting stronger. If there were cigs in the house I think I would smoke them. What's going on?
