An 8 year quit/an 8 year addiction

17 years ago 0 216 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I have a friend who told me about her friend that quit smoking 8 years ago.  I thought that is great 8 whole years without one cigarette.  She said she used the nicorette gum to quit.   Well that was really good.  But then she said that her friend is still chewing the gum.  I asked her if she was sure.  She said yes, because she was shopping with her one day and she bought enough to last for the month.

It goes to show that sometimes quitting one addiction can lead to another.

So be careful what you are using to quit.  Don't become so dependant on one thing that you find yourself addicted to it.
