congratulations tiffany , you will love not smoking . i agree with deb , don't project just don't smoke this hour.and then the next etc. pretty soon time will build and the cravings will decrease. when i really wanted a cigarette and ate small cold raw carrots.they helped a lot. good luck , you'll do great ! mike/astrofan My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/12/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 33 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 990 Amount Saved: $297.00 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 11 Mins: 49 Seconds: 3

Welcome Tiffany & congratulations on your decision to stop smoking. I'm not that far along in my quit--but so far there isn't a day that has passed that I am thankful that I am a Non-smoker.. Work the tools, read as much as you can on what has helped others here--& what you can probably expect. The one thing that has helped me greatly is to frequently remind myself NOPE--Not One Puff Ever... If that first puff is allowed--in no time it's back to a pack & 1/2 a day--wishing I weren't a smoker. Try not thinking ahead too far--one minute, one hour , one day at a time. You can DO THIS.... ;) Deb My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/1/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 44 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,320 Amount Saved: $297.00 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 1 Mins: 50 Seconds: 33

Well today is Day 6 for me! I had planned to quit years and years ago but you know something always comes up. I'm having some pretty strong cravings and feel if I could just have one I'd be o.k. but I know that is the demon talking. I smoked for 15 years. I'm 33 and I am a single mom to an 8 year old daughter. Just wanted to tell you a bit about myself!!
