Hi Moss, Some of my worst craves were around that area. A series of a few days in month 5 were quit difficult however I pulled through. Remenber what you have to do: distract by using substitutes, (get busy with something different, keep your mine occupied..) don't give in you are going to come out ok. Hi All I have been experiencing some terrible cravings again for about the last week. I seem to go in a cycle but the fight in me is wearing down this time so I need to ask for your input. I go in to a depression when these episodes hit and I fear that I can't pull myself out. I spoke with my doctor and began to take an anti-depressant a month ago but this cravings episode has just been taking the wind out of my sails. I don't even know if it is that I'm really craving a smoke or just don't know how to go about my day to day tasks without that smoke break every half hour. Is this a normal or shared experience this far in to cessation? I have noticed recently on the boards that I am not alone. There are several with 3-4-5 months who have been having a rough go of it. I know in the past it has been helpful just to know others have gone through this and have come out the other side. I am a positive person in general. I keep wondering if I am bringing some of this on myself or is this addiction just this powerful. I know there are many here who would benefit if some of you could share your experiences around this time frame in the quit and how you dealt with it.
