Excellent Lady! We have learned that smoking is not something we live by however die by. And you have learned that we can get by favorably without them; and have left the smokes in the dust. Have a very happy life! DJ, I had tried to quit using Zyban before but wasn't successful. This was my umteen hundreth quit and yes, it was cold turkey. I had finally had enough of those nasty cigarettes controlling my life. The thought process that got me through.... I kept telling myself that everyday, each moment I made it through, was that much closer to never feeling this way again. It worked for me. It seemed to have taken forever to get "over" smoking but I am so glad I did it. Being quit was like reaching the imposible dream for me and I still am amazed when I look at my meter. Don't every quit quitting. WOW! I'm so surprised. For all of those out there that are holding on to every single day quit for dear life, know this. It gets so much better. I whined and cried all over these boards for what seemed like forever! Here I am and I didn't even realize I had made it to 1000 days. I did realize my meter had gone that high. Thanks to all of those that helped along the way. YOU are forever etched in my heart.
