Are you often caught in traffic? On commutes that are long? Are you running lots of errands? The temptation and craves can be high. One great way to distract your mind from the craves is to bring along some cut-up vegetables or small, portioned amounts of healthy snacks, to keep your mouth occupied. Bring along your favorite CD, and have a chew stick or straw on hand. This will help you avoid impulsive, less healthy snack choices and keep your mind off craves. Being ready can assist you on a long drive and help you push forward. What have you done in the past to help you through a long drive? Brenna, Bilingual Health Educator
